COMPENSATING FOR BRUSH WEAR
The bristles on your Sweeper rotor will wear in due course, and it will be necessary to adjust the
height accordingly.
The Sweeper has been designed to work effectively until the bristles are approximately half their
original length. When the bristles wear beyond this point there is insufficient momentum to throw
the leaves and debris into the hopper and it will be necessary to replace the brushes on your
machine. When worn down to 130mm of bristle you should replace the brushes.
FRONT SPRING TINE OPTION (Paddock Cleaner Only)
The front tines are fitted to the Paddock Cleaner option
to assist collection of horse manure and similar material.
To adjust the tines simply remove the pin and slide the
tine bar up or down to adjust (see drawing). Set the
tines slightly below the brushes so that the tines loosen
any compacted material and the brushes can therefore
easily collect the material.
