IMPORTANT!

Check that all fastening sets (bolts and nuts) are tight after the first hour of

operation.

BELT ADJUSTMENT

The belts are tensioned in the factory but they will stretch after two or three hours work.  It is
important to check and re-tension at this point.

To tighten the belts, stop the machine and remove the belt cover, then adjust the belt tension by
adjusting the jockey pulley adjuster.

NOTE: Correct belt tension is approximately 12-15mm

of deflection under the thumb pressure halfway between the pulleys.

If belts are cut, frayed or damaged in any way they should be replaced.

Refit the belt cover and tighten the fixing nut.
