USE INSTRUCTIONS
Caution.
►
Before starting up the
HVLP turbine paint
spray gun
, we recommend that you carefully
read all of the instructions as indicated.
►
Please respect all regulations regarding the
prevention of accidents, health and safety di-
rectives for places of work, laws and applicable
restrictions.
►
The
HVLP turbine paint spray gun
must
only be used by persons who have been ins-
tructed in its use and only for the purposes for
which it has been designed.
Power supply.
►
Make sure the power supply is adapted to the
requirements shown on the information panel
of the
HVLP turbine paint spray gun
(fig.1)
.
►
Using the motor at low voltage will make it
operate slowly.
►
This will reduce performance and may cause
the motor to overheat.

Preparation.
►
Do not use textured paints as they will block
the
HVLP turbine paint spray gun
.
►
To obtain a perfect finish, the surface being
painted must be prepared, and the paint diluted
until reaching the correct degree of viscosity.
►
Make sure that the surface being painted is
free from dust, dirt and grease.
►
Make sure that the paint being used is correctly
mixed and free from lumps and other particles.
►
A large number of liquids can be sprayed
using the
HVLP turbine paint spray gun
, but
always check the manufacturer’s instructions
on these products before using them.
Paint viscosity level.
►
Remember that most paints are supplied ready
for application using brushes or rollers, and are
not suitable for use with the
HVLP turbine paint
spray gun
if they are not previously diluted.
►
The viscometer will help to decide the correct
degree of viscosity of the paint to be used
(fig.
2).
►
First, fill the paint viscometer to the top.
►
Calculate the time the viscometer takes to
empty completely.
►
In general, the viscosity of a normal product
is determined by emptying times from 15 to 30
seconds.
►
In general, emptying times for the viscometer
for different types of material are as follows:

Plastic and latex paints:

If the paint takes an excessive amount of time
to empty out of the viscometer, it means it has
to be diluted further.
