Safe working methods have been developed based on past experience with cleaning and polishing.
These methods should be learned through study and training before using this equipment. Some of these methods apply
to equipment connected to power lines; others apply to motor-driven equipment. Persons without extensive training in
welding and cutting methods should not attempt to weld.
The safe working methods are set out in the European standard EN-IEC 62822-1:2018,
entitled: Electric welding equipment - Evaluation of restrictions on human exposure to electromagnetic fields (0 Hz-300
GHz) - Part 1: Product family standard
