3.4 SELF-MONITORING
Press the TEST button to see if it
automatically switches to the dark

filter returns to the light state.
3.5 COLOUR SETTING CONTROL
Select DIN 9 to 13 based on the welding
welding process you are using by consulting the
“colour chart”. consult the “colour chart”. The
control knob for variable shading is suitable for
adjustment. The welding helmet can also be used
to protect the face during plasma cutting, use
colour DIN 5 to 8. The grind mode DIN 4 prevents
the cassette from darkening automatically before
grinding use.
3.6 SENSITIVITY CONTROL
The sensitivity can be set from low to high
to high by using the steplessly adjustable knob.
The low setting is suitable for for excess ambient
light or with another other welding equipment in
the vicinity. The high setting is suitable for welding
with a low amperage and and welding in areas with
little light, especially light, especially low
amperage during argon arc welding. Selections
between low and high are suitable for most indoor
and outdoor welding operations.
3.7 DELAY CONTROL
When welding stops, the viewing window
automatically changes from dark back to light, but
with a preset delay to compensate. The delay time
can be set from min. (0.1 sec) to max. (1.0 sec),
by a stepless adjustment knob. The minimum delay
is suitable for spot or short welding. The maximum
delay suits heavy current welding and reduces eye
strain on the welding arc. Selections between MIN
and MAX are suitable for most indoor and outdoor
welding operations.
