Cleaning and maintenance work in the area of the awning’s
movement
Motorised awnings can be set in motion unintentionally.
Care must be taken to ensure that during cleaning and
maintenance work (e.g. building cleaning), power to the
awning is disconnected (e.g. by switching off the fuse).
If awnings are operated by several users a priority switching lock-
ing device must be installed (controlled interruption of the power
supply from outside), making it impossible to open or retract the
awning at all.
Leaves and foreign bodies
Even a low-maintenance product needs proper servicing. There-
fore, execute the following maintenance and service activities
as per the requirements, once in spring or if not in use for a long
period. These activities increase the service life of your unit.
Leaves and other foreign bodies as well as coarse dirt
• inside the box or at the plain bearing,
• inside the transport or coupling section,
• inside the end caps,
• on the hoisting carriage,
• on the fabric, etc.

All rain outlet bores (refer to the exploded drawing, page 3,
instructions enclosed in the boxes)

must be kept clean in order to ensure water outflow.
Leaves and other foreign bodies on the awning canvas, in
the awning casing and in the guide rails must be removed
immediately. There is a risk of damage to the awning or it
falling.
Servicing of WGM 2030 Design
We recommend:
Employing a firm specialising in the maintenance of such units.
Greases, sprays or fluid agents containing Teflon, PTFE or
comparable agents must be used as lubricants. The lubricant must
be water and stain-resistant in order to achieve long-term effec-
tiveness. Instructions given by the manufacturer must always be
followed. Lubricants that weaken plastics should not be used.
Travaux de nettoyage et d’entretien dans la zone de mouvement
du store
Les stores motorisés peuvent être mis en marche involon-
tairement. Lors des travaux de nettoyage et d’entretien
(par ex. nettoyage du bâtiment), s’assurer que le moteur
est hors tension (par ex. en retirant le fusible).
Si les stores sont commandés par plusieurs utilisateurs, un dispositif
de verrouillage à déclenchement prioritaire (coupure de courant
contrôlée de l’extérieur) doit être actionné. Il est alors impossible
d’ouvrir ou de rentrer le store.
Feuilles et corps étrangers
Les feuilles et autres corps étrangers ainsi que les saletés grossières
doivent être immédiatement retirés :
• dans le caisson ou au niveau du palier lisse,
• dans le profilé de transport ou de couplage,
• dans les embouts,
• au niveau des chariots,
• sur la toile etc.
Tous les trous d’écoulement des eaux de pluie (cf. vue éclatée,
page 3, indications dans les encadrés)
• dans le caisson.
• dans la barre de charge,
• dans les embouts,
• dans les chariots
doivent être dégagés afin que l’évacuation de l’eau soit garantie.
Les feuilles et autres corps étrangers se trouvant sur la toile
et dans le caisson du store doivent être retirés immédiate-
ment. Le store risque autrement d’être endommagé voire
de tomber.
Entretien du store WGM 2030 Design
Nous recommandons de suivre les points suivants :
Confier régulièrement les travaux d’entretien à une entreprise
spécialisée.
Concernant les lubrifiants, utiliser des graisses, sprays ou agents
liquides à base de téflon, PTFE ou substance similaire. Le lubrifiant
doit être résistant à l’eau et aux saletés afin d’être efficace pendant
longtemps. Les lubrifiants attaquant le plastique ne doivent pas
être utilisés.
