4. Operation
4.1 Switching the device on and off
The oxygen valve is ready for use when it has been connected as described above. You sim-
ply have to switch on your therapy device and your oxygen system (with the prescribed fl
ow). The valve automatically switches on the oxygen supply to the therapy device and swit-
ches it off again.
4.2 Using the device
No action is required when the device is in operation.
4.3 After use
Please switch off the devices in the following sequence.
1. Switch off the oxygen supply by switching off the oxygen concentrator or the cylinder
valve (bottled oxygen) or the flow controller (liquid oxygen).
2. Switch off your therapy device.
3. Clean the mask and the exhalation system as described in the relevant instruction
manuals.
4. To clean the hose system, close or remove the O
2
supply hose.
