3. Setting up the device
1. Set up your therapy device and oxygen system as de-
scribed in the relevant instruction manuals. Secure the
O
2
supply hose to your hose system with the hose hold-
ers.
2. Put the oxygen valve in a position so that you can con-
nect the connecting cable and the O
2
supply hose. If
you intend to use the Velcro fastening on the therapy
device, proceed as follows:
• The surfaces for adhesive must be dry and free of
grease and dust, etc.
• Use adhesive to attach the two soft strips of Velcro to
each side of the label underneath the oxygen valve.
• Attach the hard strips to them.
• Remove the protective film from the back of the hard
strips (

) and press the valve firmly on to the desired
position (

) on the therapy device, e.g., as shown at the
back on the right.
• Leave the valve there for at least one hour before open-
ing the Velcro fastening to allow the adhesive time to
bind with the surfaces.
3. Insert the adapter
of the hose system into the output
of the device or output of the humidifier.
4. Use the connecting cable to connect the oxygen valve
to the socket
of your therapy device. The control lamp
may light up briefl y as the connection is being made.
5. Attach the device-side end of the O
2
supply hose to the
outlet side of the valve (small socket on the left)
