3. Setup of Equipment
3.1 Set up and connect unit
1. Set up the unit on a flat surface, e.g. on a bedside
cabinet or on the floor next to the bed.
Keep a space of min. 5 cm between the rear of
the unit and the wall as the air inlet is on the rear
of the unit.
Important!
Do not cover the unit.
2. Connect the power supply cable

SOMNO smart 2 automatically detects whether
115 V or 230 V has been connected and switch-
es over automatically.
The display shows "
0
" for standby.
3. If SOMNO smart 2 is to be operated with a volt-
age of 12 or 24 V DC, connect the inverter

a cigarette lighter.
To do so either use an:
– inverter 12 V WM 24131
– inverter 24 V WM 24132
Connect the outlet of the inverter and the supply
connection

of SOMNO smart 2 using the pow-
er supply cable

4. Please insert the adapter

the unit outlet

Note:
The appliance automatically compensates for dif-
ferences in air pressure (e.g. due to high altitude).
