2. During cleaning no water should be al-
lowed to enter the pressure measurement
opening or this may result in incorrect
readings. For this the pressure measure-
ment opening has to be closed:
– The pressure measurement opening in
the outlet connection stub

is closed
by inserting over the end of the pres-
sure measurement opening the sili-
cone hose of the closure plug

(supplied with your therapy unit).
– The pressure measurement opening in
the inlet connection stub

is closed by
inserting the narrow end of the closure
plug

in the seal of the pressure mea-
surement opening while turning slight-
ly.
3. Clean the base and top section with luke-
warm water to which a small amount of
detergent has been added. We recom-
mend cleaning the housing parts once a
week in the upper tray of the dishwasher
at max. 65° C.
4. Then rinse the housing parts with clean
water.
5. Shake out the base well to remove any
water which has possibly entered the
heating element contact. Dry the parts
thoroughly using a soft cloth.
The contact of the heating element has to
be dry.
6. Check that the pressure measurement
tube

in the top section is still correctly
fitted.
7. Put together the base and top section so
that the marks match up. Turn the base
and top section clockwise until the stop.
8. Remove the closure plug.
The breath humidifier is now ready for use
again.
