Cleaning method for coarse contamination
Remove contaminations
from the inside of the wire
filter insert by blowin them
out with compressed air
against the flow direction.
Remove contaminations
adhering to the outside of
the wire filter insert with
the brush.
Cleaning method for fine contamination
Place the wire filter insert
in a suitable cleaning
agent.
Then clean by blowing out
with compressed air.
Requirements for the cleaning agent:
1. Because the main body of the wire filter insert is made of brass, the cleaning agent
must not contain ammonia.
2. Generally no aggressive substances may be used that could attack the materials in
the wire filter insert.
3. The cleaning agent must leave no residue on the wire filter insert as this would
compromise the flow rate of the medium when the device is put back into
operation.
Recommended cleaning agents are comercially available neutral cleaners and dish-
washing detergents.
