Problem:
Crystal is broken
from too much pressure
Solution:
Turn adjustment
wheel clockwise to raise
crystal setter attachment
The crystal should be seated
just slightly into leather with
the prongs curled in on the
underside of the leather. A
broken crystal means too much
pressure was applied, so the
crystal setter attachment will
need to be raised by turning the
adjustment wheel clockwise.
Turn the adjustment wheel
counterclockwise for a loose
crystal with the prongs not
curled in properly
(Figure 39)
