5.5.2 HDD Format

The HDD can be formatted in this menu. This action will erase all data from the harddrive. IF you
want to format, select ”Yes” in the menu. Enter the system password as confirmation.

Note that formatting can not be recalled once it’s done. All files and data will be permanently lost.

5.5.3 Recording

This menu is described in detail in chapter 4.14.2 ”Normal Recording”.

5.5.4 HDD Option

If the Instant Recording-function is activated, the PVR will start to record the shown broadcast
instantly from the beginning of the viewing. When the channel is changed, the recording cache will
be emptied and started over again.

If the Instant Recording-function is deactivated, the user can set a timeframe for when the HDD will
be set to sleep mode, if not used.
