All wiring must be  

  performed by a 

qualified electrician. The pump must be 
installed in compliance with all local 
codes and the National Electrical Code.

Installation

 

Always disconnect  

  the power source 

before attempting to install, service, 

relocate or maintain the pump. Never 

touch sump pump, pump motor, water or 

discharge piping when pump is connected 

to electrical power. Never handle a pump 

or pump motor with wet hands or when 

standing on wet or damp surface or in 

water. Fatal electrical shock could occur.

1. Unplug the sump pump.
2. Loosen the top nut on the float switch.  
3. Slide the nut out of the way on the 

float switch wire (Fig. 1).

4. Slide the float switch into the 

mounting bracket (Fig. 1).

Description

a Flood alert™ Wireless Sump Pump 
Monitoring System is designed to notify 
the home owner of an immediate 
problem in the sump pit. an alarm will 
sound and a light will flash indicating 
that the water level has risen within the 
sump pit, and could potentially overflow.

after unpacking the unit, carefully 
inspect for any damage that may have 
occurred during transit. Check for 
loose, missing or damaged parts.
The packaging includes:

•  3V Lithium battery

•  Transmitter

•  Float switch assembly

•  Receiver

•  Transformer

•  Float switch bracket

•  3 Zip ties

•  Clip
