Install the kickstand pad (R) between the forward riser and top cover. Press it
down until it snaps into place.

Secure the forward riser cap using the provided push rivets (V).

Remove the footboard (D) from the tank box. With the black plastic components
and WaterRower logo facing upward, carefully slide the footboard between the
rails as shown below.

Using the provided ratchet (K), secure the footboard to the rails using two button
head cap screws (G) and two washers (H).
Note: There is a spacer attached to both sides of the footboard. The spacers must be
positioned between the rails and footboard on both sides for proper assembly.

Gently rotate the footboard forwards until it rests against the slanted brackets
of the tank assembly. The holes in the top of the footboard (for the handle
rests) should align with the threaded inserts in the slanted brackets of the tank
assembly.
