5.3.3 Connecting the boiler to the hydraulic network

Connect as shown in the diagram on the
right:
•
Connect the lifting line to (TV).
•
Connect the return line to (HV).
•
Connect the (valve) for filling and
emptying the hydraulic system to
(PV).
5.3.5 Connecting the safety
heat exchanger
The Viva GT boiler is fitted with a safety
internal
tubular
heat
exchanger
as
standard (picture on the right):
•
Connect the safety heat exchanger
in such a way that cold water is
allowed to flow through it, without
auxiliary energy.
•
The
minimum
cold
water
overpressure shall be 1.0 bar, but
not more than 2 bar.
•
Connect the inlet to the mains
water supply.
HAZARDOUS
The manufacturer requests
the installation of a safety
heat exchanger (cooling
loop).
According to EN 303-5, solid fuel
boilers in a closed system (due to
possible malfunction of the
system) must be equipped with a
forced heat extraction system
(forced cooling), without auxiliary
energy.

•
The connection of the
boiler to the hydraulic
network should only be
carried out by a qualified
installer.
•
Pipes must be jointed
and connected in such a
way that no leakage
occurs.
