5.3 Boiler connection
Instructions for installers
5.3.1 Flue pipe connection
•
Install the flue pipe connection on the
boiler in such a way that it is as short
as possible and stably positioned.
•
Each joint shall have a cleaning opening
for cleaning
•
The height of the flue pipe connection at
the chimney may be lower than the height
of the flue pipe connection at the boiler
(1552 mm)
5.3.2 Fresh air supply
•
Ensure sufficient fresh air supply to the room through the air vents.
•
The air opening must not be interrupted or altered in any way in such a way as to cut
off or reduce the supply of fresh air to the room.
The room in which the boiler is installed must be able to supply fresh air for combustion.
Air inlets shall ensure that uncontaminated air is supplied and the minimum air supply
shall be 2,0 m
3
/h per 1 kW of boiler output.
There must also be no extraction hoods, fans or vents or devices that create a negative
pressure.

Observe the applicable
legislation regarding
requirements for heating
rooms and air supply.
WARNING
Consult the manufacturer for the
required length of the flue pipe
connection.
HAZARDOUS
The system to which the boiler
is connected must contain a
hot water cylinder. The
minimum volume must be 55 l
per 1kW of boiler output
(diagram p. 11,12).
HAZARDOUS
Secure and seal the flue pipe
connection to prevent flue
gases from escaping.
