TRAILER RINGS:
The towing hook is suitable for connection to trailer rings according to ISO 5692-1, ISO 20019 and ISO
5692-3, form Y.
2. INSTALLATION:
IMPORTANT NOTE:
The pertinent regulations (e.g. Accident Prevention Regulations for Vehicles) and the attachment guide-
lines of the vehicle manufacturers must be observed when installing the pick-up hitch.
Official national regulations must be observed. For example: in Germany the obligations §13 FZV re-
garding the data in the car license concerning the permissible trailer weight as well as the permissible
vertical load must be considered.
ATTACHMENT OF THE
PICK-UP HITCH
:
The pick-up hitch must be attached to the vehicle in accordance with the requirements of Regulation
(EU) 2015/208, Annex 34.
The pick-up hitch is fastened to the tractor gearbox housing by means of 4 hexagon screws M20 quality
10.9 and 4 nuts M20 quality 10. Normally the bolts are not included in the scope of supply. Therefore
the data of the vehicle manufacturers are to be preferred for attachment. With missing data the bolts

– M20 – 10.9 are tightened with a torque of 660 Nm

μ= 0.14 (corresponds to non-lubricated slightly oiled
and phosphatized surface quality).

Apply the vehicle's parking brake.
>
If necessary, disassemble an existing connection device.
>
Bring the hitch with a jack or similar into the required mounting position on the rear of the vehicle.

Fix it to the rear using the screws and nuts.
