CARTRIDGE INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION DE LA CARTOUCHE
1.
ROUGH-IN PREPARATION
(see Figure 1A)
a. Turn off water supplies.
b. Remove bonnet nut (A) and test cap (B) from the body.
NOTICE
If this is not a thin wall mounting, the entire plasterguard (PI1-1
a
) may
be removed.
c. If screen (C) is in place, remove before installing cartridge.
2.
CARTRIDGE INSTALL
(see Figure 1B)
a. Rotate the cartridge (D) so the words “
HOTTER|COLDER
” (D-2) appear on
the top.
b. Insert cartridge (D) into rough-in body (PI1
a
) as shown.
CAUTION
• Make sure the cartridge tubes and o-rings (E) are properly seated in holes at
the base of the rough-in body (PI1
a
).
• Ensure the keys (D-1) on the cartridge body (D) are fully engaged with the
slots in the rough-in body (PI1-2
a
).
NOTICE
If you are not making a reverse or back to back installation, skip this
step and continue with
Bonnet Nut Install
.
c. For back to back or reverse installations (hot on right and cold on left), insert
the cartridge (D) with the “hot side” on the right.
3.
BONNET NUT INSTALL
a. Slide bonnet nut (A) over the cartridge and thread onto the rough-in body
(PI1
a
).
b. Hand tighten securely.

PRÉPARATION DE LA PLOMBERIE BRUTE

a. Coupez les arrivées d’eau.
b. Retirez l’écrou du capuchon (A) et le capuchon d’essai de pression (B) du corps.
AVIS
S’il ne s’agit pas d’une installation sur un mur mince, le protège-plâtre
(PI1-1
a
) peut être entièrement retiré.
c. Si le filtre (C) est en place, retirez-le avant d’installer la cartouche.
2.
INSTALLATION DE LA CARTOUCHE
(voir la Figure 1B)
a. Tournez la cartouche (D) pour que les mots «
HOTTER|COLDER
» (D-2) soient
sur la sommet.
b. Insérez la cartouche (D) dans le corps de la plomberie brute (PI1
a
) tel qu’illustré.
ATTENTION
• Assurez-vous que les tubes de la cartouche et les joints toriques (E) sont
correctement placés dans les trous situés à la base du corps de la plomberie
brute (PI1
a
).
• Vérifiez que les clavettes (D-1) du corps de la cartouche (D) sont entièrement
engagées dans les fentes du corps de la plomberie brute (PI1-2
a
).
AVIS
Si vous n’effectuez pas une installation inversée ou dos à dos, sautez
cette étape et continuez avec
l’installation de l’écrou du capuchon
.
c. Pour les installations dos à dos ou inversées (chaud à droite et froid à gauche),
insérez la cartouche (D) avec le « côté chaud » à droite.
3.
INTALLATION DE L’ÉCROU DU CAPUCHON
a. Insérez l’écrou du capuchon (A) sur la cartouche et vissez-le sur le corps de la
plomberie brute (PI1
a
).
b. Serrez bien l’écrou à la main.
c. Réglage de la limite d’arrêt rotationnel
