For the CME-45 model, IR sensor operated, follow the instructions below:
When you place your hands into the wash basin an automatic cycle shall commence as per
the sequence now detailed:
Soap dispensing for 0.3 second.
Followed by a delay of 1 second.
Warm Water for 12 seconds.
Followed by a delay of 1 second.
Air drying for 35 seconds.
Followed by a delay of 3 seconds after which another cycle can then be activated.
Note that another cycle shall not start unless your hands or any other item in the sensor
detection zone/range is removed momentarily.
Time Cycle Adjustments.
To adjust the time cycle settings for water and air dispensing, access must be made into the
cabinet behind the unit upper fascia panel, a RSIST-TORX key is required to remove the two
screws securing the panel. An internal cover plate is mounted behind the upper front fascia
panel. It is recommended that only qualified personnel carry out inspection/adjustments due
to the risk of electric shock if the appropriate
precautions are not taken. Switch OFF the
electrical supply at the fused spur or mains switch
board.
To the left of the internal cover plate, switch OFF
the “Electrical Isolator” to ensure the electrical
supply to the unit remains disconnected. Remove
the inner cover plate by releasing the screws
securing it and then ease it out from the unit.
The handwash will be fitted with one of two
electronic controllers, (TCU041 or TCU100) which
is mounted towards the top inside face of the
handwash housing. The TCU041 controller is
used on units with just soap, water and air
functions, push button operated. The time
settings may be adjusted by following the
adjacent instructions. The TCU100 is fitted to the CME_45 model, time cycles may be
adjusted using the onboard ‘Control Interface module’. For further details contact Wallgate.
After all adjustments are completed ensure that the internal cover plate is correctly replaced
& that the switch Electrical Isolator is in the ON position (Red light illuminated). Replace &
secure the upper front fascia panel with the two security screws.
3. REPLENISHING THE SOAP
a) Open the lower drawer with the keys provided, and remove the soap container lid. Refill
the container to the MAX level mark avoiding any accidental spillage. Replace the
container lid ensuring that the tubing is inserted fully into the container. The
recommended soap for use in this unit is a free flowing liquid soap. It is particularly
important that creams or gels are NOT used, as this will cause a blockage. The
recommended soap and its specification is available from Wallgate Ltd.
b) To prime the unit with soap for models with button operation push the soap button several
times until the soap comes through the dispensing nozzle. For automatic units a prime
switch is fitted and is located in the drawer with the soap container. When the prime
switch is pressed it will operate the pump. Press it until the system is primed. Problems
