7. WARNING: FOR YOUR SAFETY
230V, 50Hz, 1Ph power supply to Sanismart Plus pump must be through a
residual current device (RCD
) as per current
regulations. This power supply must have isolator and suitable overload/surge protection.
This apparatus must be earthed. To ensure safe operation, check that the three pin power point is earthed & protected by a fuse
of appropriate rating.
Also check with your local power supply authority. Their requirements may be additional to and may over-ride those listed above.
Before opening the cover, always switch the power off and ensure no liquid flows into the tank. Always re-install the cover and
fasten the safety screw on the cover to comply with electrical regulations.
To prevent shock or fire hazard, do not expose this unit to rain, any type of moisture, flooding or overflows.
The wires in the main connection plug are coloured in accordance with the following code:
Earth: Green/Yellow
Neutral: Blue
Phase: Brown
Children & persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience & knowledge, cannot use the
product unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their
safety
8. LIST OF FITTINGS & ITEMS SUPPLIED & HOW TO USE THEM
8.1 Unpacking And Inspection. Items supplied with the unit.

All accessories and items are supplied in separate plastic bags and are put in the pump cardboard box. Please check & confirm
before starting any installation).
Your SANISMART PLUS package should contain the following items
1 x WALLACE SANISMART PLUS pump unit
2 x Special 40mm DWV pipe fittings (called cap & lining) with rubber gasket. These are used to connect waste
water discharge pipe to pump inlet connections are the bottom of the pump tank.
1 X Special 40mm DWV pipe fittings (called slab Repair) to connect vent pipe to outside termination point in
accordance with Building & Plumbing Code and as per local rules and regulations. Do not use an air admittance
valve
, e.g. a
"Hunter Valve" in the vent pipe.
1 x 25 mm PVC swing check valve with solvent weld ends suitable for PVC Pressure Pipe
1 x 25 mm PVC isolating ball valve with solvent weld ends suitable for PVC Pressure Pipe
1 x Toilet Rubber Pan Connector with suitable Hose clips to secure it to collection tank.
1 x Rubber Discharge Elbow with 2 X suitable Hose clips to secure it to collection tank.
1 x Straight Rubber Piece for optional inlet at top of tank with 2 X suitable Hose clips
to secure it to collection tank.
2 x Plastic Caps + 2 x Conical g 2 x Plastic nuts to Block 2 inlet ports if not used
which are at the bottom of collection tanks on two side.
2 x Plastic 2 x suitable screws to secure collection tank to floor
1 x Large 10mm Hex Key (Allen Key) that will require to un-block impeller jam by rotating
motor from fan end
Warning labels to put on appliances to warn against dumping of inappropriate non-organic products in pump
