13. WARRANTY AND LIMITATIONS
INSTALLER & OWNER OF SANISMART PLUS PUMP UNIT, MUST READ BELOW & MAKE THEMSELVES AWARE OF
PRODUCT’S DETAILS & WARRANTY CONDITIONS.
The Installer MUST read details below and make himself clear that this is the correct product for application. Installer also must
make sure that the Owner of this product is well aware of product Do’s & Don’t and Warranty conditions. Failure to do so will
result in the installer being made liable under the current legislation for any future claims resulting due to use of this product.
“SANISMART PLUS” PRODUCT DO’S & DON’T:-
1.
This is a
“BUDGET” model, for domestic “SECONDARY” use only,
packaged sewage & waste water pump. This
pump is
NOT
intended for use as
the only means of sewage & waste water disposal
from a dwelling. There
must
be an alternative sewage & waste water system available for users of this pump system.
2.
If a Premium pump model for secondary use,
is
required OR a pump system for complete household or
commercial duties
is required then please
contact Wallace Pumps
for further details
on other products.
3.
Sanismart Plus unit
MUST be installed
in a
Weatherproof, Non-flooding, Moisture proof, Frost-free location
with
easy access for operation, maintenance and servicing.
Any damage / malfunction of unit due to entry of moisture,
water,
from outside weather OR from surrounding area like dripping toilet cistern / hand basin / shower / taps & any
other fixture OR splashing of water due to washing, cleaning of surface area where unit is installed OR due to any
other reason,
is NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.
4.
230V, 50Hz, 1Ph power supply to Sanismart Plus pump must be through a
residual current device (RCD
) as per current
regulations. This power supply must have isolator and suitable overload/surge protection.
Children & persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience & knowledge, cannot use
the product unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
5. This unit is
designed for the disposal of only soft sewage, water soluble toilet paper & waste water only.
Maximum temperature of wastewater allowed in unit is 40 deg C.
It is
not designed as a sanitary waste disposal unit
or a
kitchen waste macerator unit
.
Do not dump Non-
organic products
such as
condoms, sanitary pads, wet wipes, tampons, nappies, hair, coarse paper, non-
water-soluble paper towels, cardboard, plastic bags, fat, oil, sand, stones, tar, cement, paint etc
. or similar
products in unit as it will cause unit to malfunction or jam or damage. Any
damage to pump or any property or
person due to such malfunction is NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.
6.
In the event of
“Liquid inflow in pump higher than unit’s capability”
or
“Mechanical failure”
or
“Unit jammed due
to foreign material”
or
“Power failure”
or
“Any pipe or valve blockage”
or
“Ingress of water/moisture in the
unit”
or
any other reason in addition to ones specified above,
there is a chance that the unit
may malfunction
and/or overflow, which is not covered under warranty.
To
avoid such overflow & damage to any property or
person and for health and safety reasons
,
following steps must be followed.
Wallace pumps is in no way liable
for any damages that may occurred due to flooding.
a. Installer
must provide an overflow relief pipe
plumbed & delivered to a safe and visible area.
b. Wallace pumps offers an
“Alarm system with water supply shut off via solenoid valve/s to amenities
producing waste water”.
With our experience & feedback, installation of such system can
help avoiding
flooding, though it is not guaranteed
. It is highly recommended to install this system &
installer must
make Owner aware of it.

We also understand that such “Alarm System with water shut off via Solenoid”
may be mandatory
requirement in some areas. Please check with your local authority’s rules and regulations.

The purchaser and / or installer must ensure full compliance with all applicable regulations.
Wallace Pumps does not warrant for any damage to the unit or any other property caused by poor quality installation,
workmanship or installations in contravention with the Company's instructions, or by failure of materials or fittings not
supplied by the Company. The Company does not accept any liability resulting from flooding or from safety breaches,
the user must take the necessary steps to guard against such occurrences.
Subject to the above and where the unit has been installed, operated and maintained in accordance with local plumbing
and electrical regulations and this instruction manual, especially servicing & records as per clause 12 of this manual,
Wallace Pumps warrants the unit for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase, against manufacturing defects only
in materials and workmanship on the basis of return to our distributor's or service agent's premises, freight paid. Contact

For any legitimate warranty claims, Wallace pumps at their discretion reserves rights to either Repair or Replace or
Refund for product as full & final settlement of any such warranty claim. Refer Wallace’s full warranty terms &
