Operation

 

Oven ‘Shut-Down’ 

1. 

To ‘Shut Down’ oven, turn oven thermostat to ‘0’ position, oven main burners will go out. 

2. 

Turn gas control valve to 'OFF' position and this will extinguish pilot burner.  (To relight pilot burner, 

refer to ‘Oven Pilot Ignition’ on previous page). 

3. 

Turn ‘OFF’ electrical power at mains supply, power indicator light (green) will extinguish. 

 

NOTE:  If main burner has recently been turned 'OFF' and you want to re-light oven, the interlock 

will not allow gas valve to be turned to main burner position until interlock has reset 
(Approximately 1 minute).  DO NOT FORCE GAS VALVE TO MAIN BURNER POSITION 
UNTIL INTERLOCK HAS RESET, as this will damage gas control valve. 

IMPORTANT

 

Should any abnormal operation like; 

- ignition problems, 
- abnormal burner flame, 
- burner control problems, 

- partial or full loss of burner flame in normal operation, appliance requires IMMEDIATE 

service by a qualified service person and should not be used until a service is carried out.
