Introduction                                                           

Congratulations, you now have one of the industry’s most powerful High Definition tools available.  The Wafian 
HR-F1 is a direct-to-disk high definition video disk recorder with HD-SDI and component inputs and outputs for 

field use.  The HR-F1 can record Standard Definition or High Definition 4:2:2 10-bit video for 10+ hours.  It can 
record 8 channels of embedded audio and 2 channels of analog or EBU/AES audio.  It records at resolutions up to 

1920x1080 at different frame rates.  The HR-F1 offers Ethernet, IEEE 1394 and USB2 ports for data sharing and 
DVI/VGA connectivity for monitoring.

With the HR-F1 recorder, your video is recorded in one of the highest quality formats available.  The HR-F1’s easy 
operation allows you view the footage as it is recorded and to immediate review the footage via its touch-screen 

interface.
