11. SOLVING BASIC PROBLEMS:
• Defective switch
SAFETY CLUTCH
The machine is equipped with a mechanical clutch that protects the operator and the machine from
overloading the spindle. After repeatedly forcing the clutch to slip, the clutch will wear out and begin to slip
at progressively lower torque levels. In this case, we recommend handing over the machine for service.
When replacing the brushes with new ones (always replace them in pairs), make sure they are properly seated.
Simply remove the brush caps and remove the old brushes.
WARNING:
Never block the trigger switch when hand drilling. Lock the switch after mounting the
drill to the tripod.
• Worn motor brushes
• Damaged residual current circuit breaker
To replace the brushes:
• Replace the RCD
• There is no mains voltage in the socket
Note: Always replace brushes in pairs
• Replace the switch with a new one
• The power cord is incorrectly connected or damaged
• Replace the brushes with new ones
• Check the voltage in the socket or whether the fuse has tripped
Carbon brushes are a consumable and wearing part. They must be replaced when they reach their wear
limit.
CAUSE
• Push the plug deeper into the socket
The drilling rig is not working

• Check the power cord
SOLUTION
