2.
Connection to the mains water supply.
The appliance may only be connected
directly to the mains water supply if the supply hose is fitted with a backflow
preventer valve as per current regulations in force. Make sure that the hose is at
least Ø 13 mm, that it is reinforced and that it is not more than 25 m long.
3.
Suction of water from open containers.
Screw the inlet hose with filter to the water
INLET and insert it down to the bottom of the container. Vent the air from the
appliance by unscrewing the lance then start the appliance and keep the gun open
until there are no air bubbles in the water flowing out. Switch the appliance off and
screw the lance back on.
Note: The maximum suction height is 0.5 m. The suction hose should be filled before
use.
Adjustments
Pressure adjustment
The pressure on the pump is preset at its maximum operating pressure to optimize
performance and pump life. We recommend not adjusting the pressure setting. Use the
nozzles supplied to adjust the pressure.
!
WARNING
ALWAYS ensure the spray gun trigger is not on
when changing the nozzle. The nozzle must
‘click’ when inserted to be properly connected.
Do not twist nozzle when spraying.
Adjusting the spray nozzle
Water flow is adjusted by regulating the nozzle. Your pressure washer comes in 5
different colour coded quick connect nozzles that provide spray widths from 0°, 15°, 25°,
40° & a chemical (soap) nozzle. You can simply adjust the spray pattern & pressure by
selecting a different nozzle.
Red Nozzle = 0°
The highest pressure nozzle producing a pencil point pattern with no fan coverage. Ideal
for aggressive cleaning such as removing caked mud from equipment, removing stains
from concrete, steel & aluminium. Not recommended for decks, painted surfaces & cars.
Orange/Yellow Nozzle = 15°
Referred to as a chiseling tip. Narrow fan for high performance. Held at a 45° angle
