7.1
CALIBRATION
The detector is calibrated on delivery.
Initial Calibration can be changed by opening the Detector cabinet and should
only be performed by a qualified person with the necessary equipment.
7.2
START UP
The Detector is designed for the detection of refrigerant gas leaks by sniffing at atmospheric
pressure. It allows locating and estimating the value of the leak.

After connecting the Detection Block to the cable through the quick-release
socket, toggle the
STOP
switch up, and check that the
GREEN
light
" BATT "
is
lit indicating the good charge of the batteries.

If the LED is off, or is
dimly lit
, there is insufficient battery charge and these need
to be recharged.

At start-up, the Detector controls the luminous ramp and the Buzer , then goes
into heating position with lighting of the Orange light
" D ".

After about a minute, the light
" D "
Indicates that the unit is ready to detect.

The light
" S " SATURATION / CONTAMINATION
comes on during the Detector
heating period and is normally off or very dimly lit. It is best to wait for the LED to
go out before you begin detection.
