EX1401 Calibration
a.
Enter the Offset and Gain coefficients obtained in the previous steps for all ranges
and all channels. The coefficient locations can be found in the calibration file under
“Adjustments”, “Channels”.
b.
Enter the current date/time in the “Date” fields using the 24-hour clock format yyyy-
mm-dd hh:mm:ss, for example 2017-02-16 13:44:00. Note there are two Date field
locations in the calibration file.

Save the modified calibration file.

In the Soft Front Panel ‘Current Full Calibration’ window, click ‘Choose File’ and select the
modified calibration file, then click ‘Upload’ to copy the file to the EX1401.
Note
To verify that the file is successfully uploaded to the EX1401, you can click ‘Download’ from
the ‘Current Full Calibration’ window and review the downloaded file with the JSON editor.

In the ‘User Full Calibration’ window, click ‘Save from Current’ to copy the uploaded
calibration file into the EX1401’s non-volatile User Full Calibration memory.
5.
With the ‘Load By Default’ checkbox still selected, reset the unit by selecting ‘Reset’ on the
Web Page interface.
6.
At this point the EX1401 is operating from the new Offset and Gain coefficients.
