VSP726A Administrator and Provisioning Manual

Manual Firmware Update and Upload

On the Manual Firmware Update Settings page, you can upgrade the VSP726A firmware 
using a file located on your computer or local network.

To update the firmware using a file on your computer or local network: 

1.

On the Manual Firmware Update page, click 

  to locate and open the 

firmware update file.

2.

Click  

or  .

After clicking 

 the VSP726A will update its firmware and restart. If you are 

updating handset firmware, you must perform one more step after clicking 

 .

Updating a Cordless Handset

Updating DECT cordless handset firmware using the WebUI is a two-step process. First 
you must download the handset firmware and install it on the deskset. Second, you must 
install the handset firmware on the handset. The handset downloads the firmware over the 
air from the deskset.

To install the handset firmware on the deskset:

1.

Click 

 for the Firmware Server update or 

 for the 

Manual Firmware update. 

The confirmation dialog box shown below appears.

You can also configure the VSP726A to check for firmware updates at regular 
intervals. See 

“Provisioning” on page 107
