• The appliance must be connected to an efficient earthing system in
accordance with applicable electrical safety standards. If in doubt,
ask a qualified electrician to check your system.
• Check that the electrical power supply/socket provides the
maximum electrical power required by the appliance.
• If the power socket is damaged or of a different type to the plug fitted
on the appliance, ask a qualified technician to replace the plug with
one of the right type. Avoid the use of adapters, multiplugs and/or
extensions; if necessary, they can be used provided they conform to
current safety standards.
• Do not pull on the power cable, do not place it near heat sources,
and always uncoil it completely to prevent dangerous overheating.
In the event of damage, any component replacement work should
be carried out at an authorised Vortice Service Centre.
• Do not touch metal parts of the unit when it is not fitted with filters.
• Never turn the unit off by pulling out the plug

• Connect the air conditioning system to a dedicated power supply
line, served by a thermo magnetic switch with a capacity suited to
the unit’s power absorption levels.
• Any attempt to carry out maintenance operations involving opening
the unit may be dangerous, due to the presence of live components
and pressurised gas within the refrigerator circuit. Always contact a
Vortice Service Centre.
• Prolonged, direct exposure of persons, animals or plants to the flow
of air emitted by the air conditioning system internal unit may be
harmful for their health and/or preservation.
