Precautions
• Do not make modifications of any kind to this appliance.
• The unit must not be exposed to atmospheric conditions such as
rain, direct sunlight, etc. (except for the external unit).
• Do not allow aggressive chemical substances to come into contact
with the unit.
• Do not leave objects standing on the appliance.
• The appliance must be installed by a professionally qualified
electrician.
• Always ensure that the resting surface on the internal and external
units are safe and solid.
•
Do not install internal units in laundry rooms.
• Never position the air conditioning system next to cooking hobs or
other heat sources. The out-going air flow could have a negative
effect on combustion.
• Always turn the unit off when it is not in use.
• Never use this appliance without filters.
• Do not cover or obstruct the internal and external unit inlet or outlet
grilles.
• The flow of treated air must be clean (that is free of grease, soot,
chemical and corrosive agents and explosive or flammable
mixtures).
• Should the appliance be dropped or suffer a heavy blow, have it
checked by Vortice immediately.
• Regularly inspect the appliance for visible defects. If the appliance
does not function correctly, stop using it and contact Vortice
immediately.

Periodically check the state of the internal unit support brackets, if
applicable.
• Never rest heavy objects on the power cable, and make sure that it
is never compressed.
• Turn the air conditioning system off when there are high winds.
• Never turn the units off/on directly from the mains.
