WITH MAC OS X

1.

Click the AirPort icon

. A list of available networks is displayed.

2.

In the list of available networks, choose your wireless network (e.g. VOO-123456), then click

Connect

.

When choosing a wireless network at home, do not select the shared network

VOO-HOMESPOT

.

3.

Enter the security key (e.g. ABCDEFGH) and click

OK

. You wireless network is now connected.

3 HOW TO CONFIGURE YOUR MODEM USING THE INTERFACE?

Sign in to your myVOO account on

www.myVOO.be

. Select

Internet

(as shown below) to find the

 Wi-Fi Modem

 card quickly

and click

Configure my modem

. You are redirected to a sign-in page.

You must enter a user name and password. The user name is “voo” in lowercase. The password is by default the password
of your modem that you can find on the label underneath your modem (see page 3, item 2). You now have access to the
configuration interface of the modem.

4 BASIC CONFIGURATION OF THE MODEM

1. HOW TO CHANGE THE NAME OF YOUR WI-FI NETWORK (SSID)?

1.

Go the user interface of the modem, click

Configure your modem

 then

Wi-Fi

 in the top menu.

Select your

Main Network

 (2.4GHz or 5GHz) or

Guest Network

.

Each network has its own benefits. To increase the range (e.g. Wi-Fi on the second floor), we recommend 2.4GHz.
For better performance when near to the modem, (e.g. gaming on the network), we recommend 5GHz.

2.

Enter the desired network name in the Network Name (SSID) field.

3.

 Click

Apply

(at the bottom of the window) to validate your change.

If you make changes while you are connected to the Wi-Fi network, you will be disconnected.

The modem router is configured directly
via the device interface, so you must be
connected to the (Wi-Fi or cable) network
of the modem. To access the interface of
your modem without being connected to
the Internet: refer to the section on frequent
problems (see p. 20, item 7).
