MAC FILTERING
On this page you can filter the Internet connection by MAC
address. The devices will continue to work on the local area
network (LAN) but Internet traffic is blocked.
• To filter the Internet connection by MAC address
, enter the
MAC address of the devices you want to filter and then
click
Apply
.
PORT FILTERING
On this page you can filter the usage of specified ports.
All traffic passing through these ports is then blocked.
• To block traffic passing through specified ports
, enter the
range of ports you want to filter, select the
Enabled
check
box and click
Apply
.
• To block the traffic on a single port
, enter the same port in the
Start Port and End Port fields, select
Enabled
and click
Apply
.
Examples:
To block web browsing, block port 80 and TCP/UDP.
To block access to mail services using e-mail software,
block ports 25 (outgoing) and 110 (incoming) in TCP/UDP.
