Problem
Possible cause?
The measured value does not
change.
“Device not connected” display
The meter is not connected.
Remedy: Disconnect the meter from the smartphone
and reconnect it. Follow the on-screen instructions.
• The following list shows the formaldehyde effects depending on its concentration in the
ambient air:
0 – 0.08 ppm
Normal, healthy environment
0.09 – 1.99 ppm
Causes irritation of nasal and pharyngeal mucous membranes and
eyes
2.00 – 3.99 ppm
Stinging sensation in the eyes, nose and throat
4.00 – 5.00 ppm
Lacrimation, discomfort, tolerable for max. 30 minutes.
The above values are for reference only and may differ depending on the individual.
A concentration of 0.1 ppm should not be exceeded, not even briefly.
• Harmful formaldehyde concentrations can be reduced to harmless levels through ventilation.
The formaldehyde emission source should be located and removed.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be placed in household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable
regulatory guidelines.
