5. Dip the tip of the measuring probe approx. 2 - 3 cm into the liquid that you want to measure.
Move the tip of the measuring probe back and forth in the liquid slightly in order to remove
any air bubbles from the surface of the membrane and to stabilise the measurement. It may
take a while for the measurement to stabilize.
6. In "COND", "TDS" and "Salt" modes, the unit is selected automatically: µS/cm, mS/cm,
ppm or ppt.
7. If the measured value is outside of the measurement range, "----" will appear on the LCD
display (8).
Do not touch or wipe the surface of the inner black plate on the conductivity cell.
The automatic temperature compensation (ATC) ensures precise measurements
when there are different liquid temperatures.
8. After you have finished taking measurements, clean the measurement probe with distilled
water and replace the protective cap.

Displaying maximum/minimum values
1. The meter can display the maximum and minimum values of a measurement.
2. Press and hold the
button (4) until "MAX" (F) and "MIN" (F) flash simultaneously on
the LCD display (8).
3. Press the
button briefly to switch between the maximum and minimum values.
4. Press and hold the
button to exit the max/min display. The "MAX" (F) and "MIN" (F)
symbols will disappear from the LCD display.
Please note that the automatic power-off function will not work when the device is in
MAX/MIN mode.

Switching units
1. Press and hold the
button (3) for approx. 3 seconds to switch between the temperature
units °C and °F or between "pH" and "mV".
2. For redox measurements (ORP mode), you can switch between "ORP" and "mV".
3
Storing and recalling measured values
1. Press the
button (2) to store a measured value. The "STORE" symbol (L) and the
stored value will appear on the LCD display (8).
2. Press and hold the
button for approx. 3 seconds to recall the stored values.
