Description of buttons
Button Description
AUTO DMM operation:
Activates the automatic measuring range selection in the mea-
suring ranges voltage, current, resistance.
SCOPE operation:
Automatic optimum setting of time base, horizontal deflection
and trigger for the best possible signal display.
TRIG Calling up the trigger menu in SCOPE operation
TIME Calling up the menu for setting the time base
RANGE AC/DC or Hz/%
MODE Switching between SCOPE operation and DMM operation
SET Calling up the setup menu for auto power Off, background dis-
play, contrast and beeper
SAVE/CALL Calling up the memory menu in SCOPE operation
HOLD Activates/deactivates the HOLD function
F1 – F4 Function buttons for selecting and setting parameters and addi-
tional functions. The active function is displayed on the display.
Basic settings (Set)
Basic parameters can be set by pressing the SET button.
F1 (Auto OFF) automatic deactivation:
The automatic deactivation saves battery capacity and turns the measuring device
off after the set time if no button is pushed. After pressing the SET button, press F1.
With the buttons F2 and F3, you can set the desired deactivation time from 1 to 31
minutes. To turn the automatic deactivation off, set „OFF“. Confirm your entry with
the F4 button (ENTER). After automatic deactivation, the DMM can be turned on
again by turning the rotary switch (3) to „OFF“ and afterwards to a measuring range.
