Wedgemaster II Ops Manual
3
Blades are sharp and can cause injury. Check machine before using. Be sure machine is clean. Check for
broken, nicked or dull blades and if found, replace blade assembly. Check to be sure Pusher Head Assembly can
move freely. Lubricate if necessary using a light coating of mineral oil, Petrol Gel or food grade lubricant. DO NOT
LUBRICATE WITH COOKING OIL AS IT WILL BECOME STICKY.
OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place machine on a level counter or table.
2. When wedging lemons or limes, it is best to cut off both ends of the fruit.
3. When wedging tomatoes, use a Tomato King Scooper to remove the stem scar.
4. Raise the head of the Wedgemaster II with your right hand. Center the product that you are going to cut on
the center spike, which is the middle of the blade assembly.
5. Remove your hand away from the blade assembly. With a strong, quick, downward thrust of the head
assembly with your right hand, force the product through the blade to make perfect wedges.
6. Clean and lubricate your machine immediately.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Acidic foods can make the blades dull and corrode prematurely. ALWAYS clean the Wedgemaster II after
every use.
2. After use, remove the pusher assembly and base assembly and clean with warm, soapy water. Rinse with
hot water and let air dry. DO NOT wipe the blades. A brush and sprayer may be used to clean the blades.
3. The Wedgemaster II may be machine washed with mild detergents and with care to protect the blades.
