Installing
Fitting notes
♦ If side member extension is being installed for first time on new
vehicle and newly painted surfaces, procedure in ⇒ Workshop
manual "Paint"; ⇒Paintwork repairs; ⇒Paint finish; ⇒Mouldings
& Films should be observed.
♦ If the side member extension is removed and reinstalled, only
use adhesive remover -D 002 000 10- to remove the adhesive
remains.
♦ Ensure that surfaces to be bonded are free of dust and grease.
♦ Bond side member extension immediately after cleaning.
♦ Do not remove protective backing until just before you are
ready to install side member extension.
