Reading and working light
Reading lights in the sleeping area and bed top are intended to provide limited illumination at a short distance.
There is a working light in the dinette area and above the cooking area. Due to their length, they have a larger
illumination area than the reading lights. The control electronics of the light in question are located in the
internal electronics of the lights. There is no provision for operation via the display and operating unit for
camping equipment. The reading and working lights can be switched on or off and dimmed by touching the
touch sensor on the light. The previous dimming value restored when switching off and on again by touching the
touch sensor.
By pressing the “Light OFF” button in the entrance area or by locking the vehicle with the folding radio key or
driver door lock when leaving the vehicle, the complete lighting including the reading and working lights can be
switched off. The ground supply, controlled by the control unit for special vehicles J608, is briefly interrupted for
this purpose. The next time the touch sensor is touched, the dimming value will be 100% again. On the positive
side, the lights are connected to terminal 30a.
