The LTE Wi-Fi router
Operation
An LTE Wi-Fi router (control unit for Internet access J666) is offered for the Grand California. It can log into the
LTE network after a customer's own SIM card is inserted that has been activated accordingly. It then provides the
customer with Internet access via Wi-Fi. Passengers can access the memory of a micro SD card via an integrated
media server.
The LTE Wi-Fi router is located in a retaining frame underneath the right front seat.
The LTE Wi-Fi router is switched on and off using the display and operating unit for camping equipment in the
Infotainment menu. As soon as the vehicle is locked by the folding radio key or driver's door lock, the router is
automatically switched off.

When the vehicle is unlocked, the LTE Wi-Fi router is
not automatically switched on again.
Activation of the LTE Wi-Fi router is then only
possible via the Wi-Fi button on the display and
operating unit for camping equipment.
The LTE Wi-Fi router remains active after the vehicle
is locked by means of the lock/unlock buttons in the
driver's door or in the living area.
