The solar installation
A solar panel can optionally be installed to support the additional battery. The solar panels are self-adhesive and
sealed at the outer edges with sealant against possible water ingress. Due to the different space conditions, the
solar panel of the Grand California 600 is glued to the front of the roof. With the Grand California 680, the solar
panel is glued directly to the roof in the rear area. Due to the larger surface area, a higher power can be achieved
in the Grand California 680 than in the Grand California 600. The power can vary depending on the intensity of
the sun or the degree of contamination. A solar panel consists of several modules. If even one module is shaded,
for example by foliage, the output can be reduced to a minimum.
*Wp – watt peak
If a module has damaged cells, it is possible that local overheating will occur.
Damaged solar panels should be disconnected from the circuit or covered if possible.
Also observe the manufacturer’s instructions.
