Removing
– Remove rear door trim ⇒ General body repairs, interior; Rep.
Gr. 70 ; Trims, insulation; Door trims .
– Lever out caps -5-.
– Lower door window until spreader pin -3- and spreader plug
-4- are accessible in aperture of window regulator.
Note
If the work step cannot be carried out because there is a fault with
the electric window motor, remove motor to slide window down.
– Screw a 5 mm bolt (approx. 70 mm long) into the spreader pin
-3- and pull out from spreader plug -4-.
– Screw an 8 mm bolt (approx. 80 mm long) into spreader plug
-4-.
Note
Do not exert too great a pressure on the plug because otherwise
the plug will fall into the door.
– Pull spreader plug -4- out of clamping jaws -1- and therefore
out of door window.
– Pull window guide -3- out of mounting.
– Remove screws -2- and pull trim -1- towards B-pillar
-direction of arrow-.
– Pull door window upwards -arrow- out of window slot.
