Using Digital Key Control to Change the Musical Key
You can raise or lower the key of disc music 7 steps to fit the vocal range of any singer using the Digital Key Control buttons
on the front panel or on the remote control.

- Raises the music key
- Returns the key back to the natural (original) key

Controlling the Master Microphone Volume
Use the volume controls on the front panel or the and - buttons on the remote control to raise and lower the master microphone volume.
• Using the Front Panel: Turn the Microphone Master Volume clockwise to raise the microphone volume and counter-clockwise to lower the
microphone volume
• Using the Remote Control: Press the + button to raise the microphone volume and the - button to lower the microphone volume
Adjusting the Echo Effect on Microphone Vocals
You can increase and decrease the amount of Echo present in the microphone signal to give a more professional sound or to disguise less seasoned
vocalist using the Echo control on the front panel
1. Turn the Echo control clockwise to increase the Echo level and counter-clockwise to decrease the Echo level
2. Turn Echo off by turning the Echo control fully clock-wise
Adjusting the Tone of the Microphone Vocals
The
BASS
and
TREBLE
controls on the front panel control the amount of Bass and Treble present in the microphone channels.
•
BASS
: Use this control to increase or decrease the amount of “low end” or Bass present in the vocals. Too much bass may sound
“muddy” or dull. Turn clockwise to increase the low end and counter clockwise to decrease the low end.

TREBLE
: Use this control to increase or decrease the amount of “high end” or Treble present in the vocals. Too much treble may sound
“tinny” and could be the cause of feedback. Turn clockwise to increase the high end and counter clockwise to decrease the high end.
Canceling Vocals on Multiplex Discs
Use the
L/R
button on the front panel or remote control to cancel out the vocal track on Multiplex discs.
Note:
Guide vocals can only be cancelled on Multiplex formatted discs.
On Multiplex formatted discs, the vocals are recorded one side and the music on the other side. The
L/R
button cycles between
MONO/LEFT
,
MONO/RIGHT
, and
STEREO
.
MONO/LEFT
: Plays the Left side only
MONO/RIGHT
: Plays the Right side only
STEREO
: Plays both sides, allowing you to hear both music and vocals.
