Using the OSD Graphic EQ

The 

DVG-888K

 has seven different 

EQ

 settings plus one customizable 

EQ

 setting.

 

Note:

 The player must be connected to a TV/video monitor to view the graphic 

EQ

 display.

To switch between the available preset EQ settings

1. Hold down the 

+SHIFT

 button on the remote control and press the 

+EQ

 button to turn on the 

EQ

.  

    The display on your TV/video monitor will say 

EQ ON

 and the graphic 

EQ

 will appear.

2. Press the 

ENTER

 button on the remote to cycle through the available 

EQ

 presets.

3. Hold down the 

+SHIFT

 button on the remote control and press the 

+EQ

 button again to see the active 

EQ

.

4. Hold down the 

+SHIFT

 button on the remote control and press the 

+EQ

 button a third time to remove the 

EQ

 display.  

    The 

EQ

 will still be on.

5. Hold down the 

+SHIFT

 button on the remote control and press the 

+EQ

 button a fourth time to remove the 

EQ

 display.  

    The 

EQ

 will still be on.

6. Hold down the 

+SHIFT

 button on the remote control and press the 

+EQ

 button a fifth time to turn 

EQ

 off.

Setting your own EQ 

1. Hold down the 

+SHIFT

 button on the remote control and press the 

+EQ

 button to turn on the 

EQ

.  

    The display on your TV/video monitor will say 

EQ ON

 and the graphic 

EQ

 will appear.

2. Press the 

ENTER

 button until you reach the 

EQ

 titled 

PERSONAL

.

3. Use the Left and Right arrow buttons on the remote to choose which “slider” to adjust and use the Up and Down arrow buttons
    to adjust each slider.
4. Hold down the 

+SHIFT

 button on the remote control and press the 

+EQ

 button a third time to remove the 

EQ

 display. 

    The 

EQ

 will still be on.

5. Hold down the 

+SHIFT

 button on the remote control and press the 

+EQ

 button a fourth time to remove the 

EQ

 display. 

    The 

EQ

 will still be on.

6. Hold down the 

+SHIFT

 button on the remote control and press the 

+EQ

 button a fifth time to turn 

EQ

 off.

Using the STEP Feature to View a Movie One Frame at Time

1. Press the 

STEP

 button on the remote control to enter 

STEP

 mode

2. Press the 

STEP

 button to advance to the next frame.  You can do this as many times as necessary

3. Press the 

PLAY

 button to resume normal playback
