DNS Mapping
DNS mapping is a capability that allows network technicians to bind the device name and the IP
address of a NovoEnterprise device so that both items can be used interchangeably in the IP address
field when a user is logging into a presentation session.
This provides convenience to users who want to join a presentation session using just the device
name as the login, instead of using the IP address’ numeric string.
DNS mapping is allowed on the NovoEnterprise device but must be done via third-party software by a
network technician. For more information on the DNS mapping procedure, check the network guide
document provided on the Delta website.
