 Use only extensions, plug and sockets

with earth connection;

 The extension cable section must

be proportional to its length and have

similar or superior features of the

machine’s power cable;

 Do not use damaged extensions.

Check the extension before use and

replace it if necessary;

 When the extension is in the form of a

coil, unroll the entire cable;

 Always unplug the extension from the

electrical outlet before removing the

machine’s plug;

2.3 - BEFORE OPERATING

Make sure that the machine is used

only by who is familiarized with the

instruction manual.

To ensure a safe operation, you must

take certain cares and procedures into

consideration:

 Inspect the machine before each

use. Make sure that the attached

accessories are properly assembled

and in good condition. If excessive

wear or damage occurs, replace the

accessories.

 Make sure all tightening screws are

properly fastened. A regular overhaul

is important to ensure safety and good

performance;

 Check if the safety devices are in

perfect condition and functioning

correctly. Never operate the machine

if the safety devices are missing,

inhibited, damaged or worn;

 Make sure that the “ON/OFF” switch

is off when you connect the power

cable. If the switch is damaged or does

not allow to control the machine, it

must be repaired or replaced in order

to avoid unintentional starts;

Perform all necessary adjustments to

the correct assembly of the machine,

and in case of having any questions or

problems, contact your official dealer.

2.4 - WHILE OPERATING

Keep third parties away from the

work area. Never operate the

machine while animals or people,

particularly children, are at risk.

Place the machine on a firm, flat floor

to prevent movement during operation.

Always wear personal protective

equipment. The use of face shields or

goggles, dust masks, ear protection,

non-slip safety footwear, long-sleeved

clothing, gloves and helmets under

proper conditions, reduces the risk of

injury.

When operating, place yourself in

a stable position and always keep

balance. Hold the gun firmly to ensure

a continuous operation and withstand

unexpected situations.

Do not cover the machine during

use or use it in spaces without

adequate ventilation. To avoid the risk

of overheating, keep the ventilation

openings permanently clean and

unobstructed to allow air circulation.

Do not use the machine for long

periods of time or expose it to the sun.

Such conditions cause overheating,

which leads to a constant activation of

the machine’s thermal protection.

Operating the machine with a supply

voltage lower than the recommended

in the technical specifications or using

extensions with a very long cable can

also cause a constant activation of the

thermal protection.

While using the machine, plan some

breaks and avoid using it for long

periods of time. Permanent vibrations

are harmful to health.

A massive load of vibrations may

damage nervous and circulatory

systems, especially to whom have

circulatory problems. Inform your

doctor if any symptoms arise caused

by vibration. Among these symptoms,

that occur specially on fingers, hand

and wrists, are also included loss of

sensation, pain, muscle weakness, skin

discoloration or tingling sensation.

2.5 - MAINTENANCE AND

CLEANING

Before cleaning, adjusting, replacing

accessories, repairing or maintenance

works, the power cord must be

unplugged from the electrical outlet.

Replace every worn or damaged part

immediately, so that the machine

is always in a safe and operational

condition.

Cleaning:

The equipment must be well cleaned

after use.

Do not use aggressive cleaning

products. These products can damage

plastics and metals, leading to an

incorrect operation of the machine.

Maintenace:

Only maintenance works described

in this instruction manual may be

performed; all other work must be done

by an official distributor.

Keep all nuts and screws well tightened

so the machine is always in good and

safe conditions of operation.

Use only accessories or technically

identical parts authorized by VITO for

this machine. No doing so may result

in personal injury or damage to the

machine. In case of questions or lack of

knowledge and resources, you should

contact an official distributor.

2.6 - TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

The machine should be repaired by

the brand’s technical service, or by a

qualified person, and only with original

spare parts.
