Damages requiring repair
Switch the device off, unplug it and apply to the
authorized service center to repair the device
under the following conditions:
•
damage of plug or power cord;
• getting of foreign objects into the device
housing;
•
exposure of device to rain or water;
• device malfunctions;
•
drop or some other damage of device.
Cleaning and care
Before cleaning switch the device off and unplug
it. Use a soft wet cloth to clean the device hous-
ing. Never use abrasives or solvents.
Cleaning discs
•
Do not use cracked or deformed discs, this
can damage the device.
• Hold the disc on the edges only. Do not touch
the disc operating surface. Dust, scratches
or fingerprints on the operating surface may
lead to a failure of disc playback.
•
Protect the discs from direct sunlight; keep
them away from heat sources, high tempera-
ture and moisture.
• After use, put the disc into the case for stor-
age. Periodically wipe the disc operating
surface with a soft cloth from the center to
edges.

Unpack the device. Open the lid (7) by pressing
the groove (8) and take out the protective insert,
close the lid (7) before operation.
Remove all advertising labels/stickers that
prevent normal operation, from the upper and
front part of the radio recorder.
