PORTABLE CD/MP3 PLAYER

Please read these instructions carefully before 
connecting, operating or adjusting the unit.  Fol-
low all warnings and operating recommendations 
in this manual.  
Keep this manual for future reference.

expose the appliance to rain or moisture. 
To prevent shock hazard do not remove the cover 
yourself. Apply to a service centre for repair and 
maintenance.

DANGEROUS VOLTAGE

This lightning flash with arrowhead 
symbol, within an equilateral triangle, is 
intended to alert the user to the presence 
of uninsulated “dangerous voltage” within 
the product’s enclosure that may be of 
sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of 
electric shock to persons.

ATTENTION

The exclamation point within an equilateral 
triangle is intended to alert the user to 
the presence of important operating and 
maintenance (servicing) instructions in the 
manual accompanying the appliance.

CLASS 1 LASER PRODUCT

This unit is classified as Class 1 Laser Product. 
The corresponding mark is on the rear panel 
of the unit and it means that the unit employs a 
beam system. Do not attempt to disassemble 
the unit. REFER TO QUALIFIED SERVICE PER-
SONNEL FOR REPAIR.

PRECAUTIONS
Connecting to power sources
Do not use the appliance if the power cord 
or the plug is damaged or if there are other 
damages in the unit, if the unit fell.  

Check, whether the electricity supply in your 
home sockets corresponds to the voltage speci-
fied ob the housing of the unit. 

Do not use the unit outdoors.
Do not immerse the power cord or the plug 
into water or other liquids.
Provide that the power cord does not hang 
over the table and that it does not touch hot 
surfaces.

Do not use the unit near heated sources or 
open flame.

Do not immerse the unit into water. To prevent 
fire or shock hazard do not use this unit near 
water for example, near a bath tub, wash bowl, 
kitchen sink or laundry tub, in a wet basement, or 
near a swimming pool and such like places. Pre-
vent the unit from dripping and splashing. Do not 
place objects filled with water for example vases 
on the unit.  
Do not overload wall outlets or extension cords 
as this can result in a risk of fire or electric 
shock.
Place the unit in a way that you could easily pull 
out the plug from the socket if there are some 
damages.  Power-supply cords should be rout-
ed so that they are not likely to be walked on or 
pinched by items placed upon or against them, 
pay particular attention to cords at plugs, con-
venience receptacles, and the point where they 
exit from the unit.
Use only the extenders approved by the manu-
facturer otherwise it can be dangerous. 
For additional protection during lighting and in 
cases when you are not going to use the unit for 
a long time, unplug the unit. It will prevent the unit 
from failure during lighting and power surges. 
To unplug the unit, hold it by the plug. Do not pull 
by the cord. 

Do not touch the plug with wet hands

Do not lubricate the moving parts of the unit.
In order to avoid electric shock do not remove 
the cover yourself.  Do not repair and do not 
modify the unit. Technical maintenance must be 
performed only by qualified service personnel.   

Installation the unit

Install the unit in places with proper ventilation. 
Do not place the unit in the built-in furniture 
(bookshelves or wall cabinet) if there is no proper 
ventilation there.
The openings should never be blocked by plac-
ing the unit on a bed, sofa, rug, as slots and 
openings in the case are provided for ventilation 
to ensure reliable operation of the unit and to 
protect it from overheating.
The product should be situated away from heat 
sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, 
or other products (including amplifiers) that pro-
duce heat. Do not expose the unit to direct sun-
light, excessive dust or mechanical shocks.   
Place the unit on the flat stable surface away 
from the equipment with strong magnetic fields,
