•
If your hair has been dyed or permed, use the unit
rarely.
•
For the best results the hair should be clean and dry.
•
Open the curling tongs by pressing the heating plates
(1) together and moving the clamp (4).
•
Put the unit on a flat steady and heat-resistant surface.
•
Insert the plug into the mains socket.
•
Switch the unit on by pressing the button (2), the power
indicator (2) will light up and start flashing.
Note: During the first operation some smell from the heat-
ing element is possible, this is normal.
•
Divide combed hair into locks of equal width (about
2 cm).
•
Place a hair lock between the heating plates (1).
•
Press the hair lock between the heating plates (1)
near the hair roots and create crimps throughout the
hair length.
•
Do not slide the unit throughout the hair lock length,
just press the heating plates (1) together to make
crimps.
IMPORTANT: do not keep the heating plates on the same
area of the hair lock for more than 2 seconds.
•
After that start styling the next hair lock.
•
Cool your hair down before final styling or applying
hair spray.
•
Avoid contact of heated surfaces with your face, neck
and other parts of your body.
•
After use set the power switch (2) to the lower position,
the indicator (2) will go out; then take the power plug
out of the socket. Let the device cool down.
Note:
– Always switch the unit off and unplug it if it is not used.
– Never leave the unit connected to the mains unat-
tended.
CLEANING AND CARE
•
Before cleaning, unplug the unit and let it cool down
completely.
•
Never immerse the unit into water or other liquids.
•
Wipe the heating plates and the unit body with a soft
damp cloth and then wipe them dry.
•
Do not use abrasives and solvents to clean the unit.
