POWERING AN ANTENNA OR ANTENNA SPLITTER
You provide 24 VDC power to a CellCom 10 antenna in one of three ways:
• Connect the antenna to a 150/UNI-DIN power supply unit through the
4-pin DIN connector at the antenna.
• Connect the antenna to an antenna splitter which is powered by a
power-supply unit.
• Connect the antenna to a CellCom 10 base station’s “transceiver” RJ-45
connector.
The preferred method is to connect the antenna to a powered antenna splitter, as
illustrated in Figure 2.
An antenna splitter distributes power to all antennas connected to it. A single
power-supply unit can power the maximum 10 antennas. However, cable lengths
will be reduced.
